Sometimes, the holdings of these realms are considered to be independent entities in their own right, but most frequently one refers to the “big three” when referencing “extrafacetary society” without qualifiers. Stabilizing and pioneering other truly non-gem-sourced locations has been a matter of some interest for not a few people, but no prospective fourth major power has arisen. It is hard to describe the amount of power and influence these nations can exert when motivated. They share many things; a single star for sunlight, a single hypernet, a single interest in plumbing the secrets of creation. Their differences, though, are… significant. The extrafacetary territories strike many facetary natives like poorly-upkept editions of Heaven. They are far from perfect, but they are precious.
